- Apolloโs Universal XPERT tool accepts addresses up to 254 and says XPERT 7 users should ignore the 128 pip.
- Apollo installation guidance shows XP95/Discovery using switches 1โ7, while Soteria/CoreProtocol-capable equipment can use an eighth address bit where supported.
- Actual usable addresses, device quantities and loop loading depend on the fire panel and its certified configuration.
Safety / compliance: Do not use this site alone to certify a design or installation. Check the current project fire strategy, risk assessment, BSI documents, EN 54 product approvals and all panel/device manufacturer instructions.
